Accommodation
in the Kispiox Valley
The
Kispiox Valley is speckled with artisans and several fine potters
who open their home-based galleries to the public. Accommodations
in the Kispiox Valley are varied. There are a number of bed & breakfasts,
campgrounds (including Forest Service campsites), cabins,and lodges,
as listed below. There are also accommodations in nearby Hazelton.

Anspayaxw
Developments
Anspayaxw
Developments Ltd. is a legally incorporated entity of Kispiox Village.
It is used to bid on government contracts. Work has been done in
logging, tree planting, matting & fertilizing, brushing & weeding,
and GPs surveys. Anspayaxw Developments has also served as lead proponent
in Forest Renewal BC funding work such as watershed restoration projects,
rehabilitating fish habitat and road deactivation.
The
band also does contract work on road work, water and sewer installation
and housing construction. Equipment the band owns includes: an excavator,
a backhoe, a grader, a dump truck and several trucks and vans for transporting
employees.
Other
companies of Kispiox include Gitxsan Investments, Golden Eagle
Products (joint venture to establish a Value Added Mill),and Skeena
Eco-Expeditions (for promoting cultural eco-tourism). In addition Kispiox
is in partnership with other Gitxsan communities in the ownership
of Luuminaks Travel.
